Kim Kolda graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics and French, studying abroad her sophomore year at L’Université Catholique de l'Ouest in Angers, France. She earned her M.A. in TESOL from Oklahoma State University, where she taught freshman composition to American students and academic writing to international graduate students. Kim has taught French at the secondary and elementary levels, technical ESL to aeronautical students, survival ESL to Hmong refugees, and basic ESL to Hispanic immigrants. She continues her love for different languages and cultures in her current position as an IEP Instructor at Southeast Missouri State University.
