Meet with a professional Intensive English Program teacher one-on-one for targeted skills practice leading to success in personal, academic, or professional goals. Open to all multilingual learners at any level. Topics might include listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities, popular culture, small talk and current events, pronunciation work, or other topics you request. Schedules are flexible but appointments are limited.
$200 – six 1-hour sessions
Intermediate to advanced learners meet in small groups with professional IEP teachers for 2-5 hours per week. Certificates will be awarded for successful completion. Open to current IEP students, Southeast Missouri State University students, and community members.

Short-term programs are life-changing opportunities that combine academic language study with immersive cultural experience. Click below to learn about upcoming programs and enroll.
We are also happy to develop a program for your group. You’ll work with an experienced program coordinator and professional language teachers to design the academic language and cultural experiences that meet your needs. Programs usually last 3-5 weeks and include 10-14 hours of study per week, with additional field trips, activities, and optional excursions.
