L. Alee Moore joins the Department of Social Work as an instructor and director of field education. Dr. Moore is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned a Ph.D. in workforce development and organizational leadership (2016) and a Master of Social Work with a concentration in administrative practice and planning (2005). Dr. Moore completed her undergraduate studies at Southern University and A & M College in Louisiana, where she received a bachelor of science in social work (2004). She arrives with experience as an adjunct instructor and licensed social work practitioner in the areas of school social work, health, and aging.
Dr. Moore’s research highlights human resource development issues through the social work lens. Her primary interests are talent acquisition and development, performance standards, and competency modelling.
