Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program (VRIP)

Southeast has continually worked through its budget review process to identify strategic measures for expense reductions and potential revenue enhancements in order to meet budget demands imposed on Southeast Missouri State University. In an effort to reduce personnel expenditures on a voluntary basis, Southeast will offer a Voluntary Retirement Incentive Program (VRIP) benefit.

VRIP Informational Meetings:

Informational meetings will be held (see schedule below) for eligible VRIP participants.  Pre-registration is not necessary.    VRIP guidelines and application procedures will be discussed, along with a review of retiree health insurance options and MOSERS retirement application and election procedures.  Representatives from MOSERS and UnitedHealthcare will be in attendance and available for employee questions and consultation.  TIAA will be in attendance at the January 30th meeting and available for faculty questions and consultation regarding the College and Universities Retirement Plan (CURP).
