The University offers health care advocate services to all staff, faculty and retirees. The health care advocate's purpose is to provide health care education and explore the availability of support services offered by UnitedHealthcare. These services are to provide timely information to members to help make informed decisions about health care and treatments.
Dr. Linda Heitman, Ph.D., RN, CS, Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing, is the Health Care Advocate. Faculty, staff and retirees can make an appointment by calling the Human Resources Office at (573) 651-2206. Strict confidentiality will be observed with each appointment. There is no cost to the member for this service.
