Academic Program & Calendar: Students are encouraged to have 2 years of German study at Southeast before enrolling at FSU. A semester at FSU offers intensive German language and other subjects students may study. Fall Semester is October - February; Spring Semester is April - July.

Room & Board: Students may stay in the dormitory or in an apartment within walking distance of the university. Meals may be taken in the FSU cafeteria. A furnished apartment costs around $215-$320/month.

Program Costs & Scholarships: All scholarships can be applied to this direct exchange:

Southeast Tuition (12 credits): $2202 (resident)/$3852 (nonresident)
Administration Fee: $250

Other costs: Airfare, housing, books, and incidental costs are additional and will vary from student to student. Departmental scholarships are available to help defray costs.

Eligibility: Sophomores, juniors, and seniors, with a minimum overall GPA of 2.7, are eligible to apply. Applicants must express a strong desire to learn German and must be in good academic standing at the time of departure. German majors will be given preference.
