The south edge of Area #1 begins at Broadway with the Sobrey building and the “Gateway.” This area extends north to Normal Street, east to the Grauel building and NASA Center, on Pacific Street, and west to parking lots #1-21 and #1-22 on Henderson Avenue. Facilities not on map are 319 Ellis and the Semo Crime Lab.
The south edge of Area #2 begins with Normal Street median. This area extends west to the old University Relations building on Henderson Avenue, and east to Fountain Street.
The south edge of Area #3 begins with Parking Lot #3-1 (at Pacific Street) and includes Cardiac Hill. This area extends north to New Madrid and includes Cottonwood Treatment Center and the football practice fields. The area extends east to Sprigg Street and west to the Towers Access Drive, Magill Hall and Polytech Building. This area also includes the Eldercare Facility.
The south edge of Area #4 begins at Cheney Drive. This area extends north to New Madrid, west to Parking Lots #4-5 and #4-13 on Henderson Avenue, and east to Parking Lot #4-17 (at the Group Exit Drive). This area also includes 727 Henderson Avenue and the Polytech Building.
The south edge of Area #5 begins at New Madrid Street. It extends north to a tributary of Sloan’s Creek, east to Sprigg Street, and includes the Shivelbine and Greystone homes. The area extends west to the Horticulture Greenhouse.
The south edge of Area #6 begins at a tributary of Sloan Creek. The area continues north to and includes The Red Hawk Tennis and Intramural Field #1. The area ends with Sprigg Street to the west and the Agriculture Greenhouse to the east.
Area #8 consists of the herbaceous annual and perennial flower beds on the campus, as well as all roses.
