Dr. Erin Fluegge Woolf is an Assistant Professor of Management in the Department of
Management & Marketing in the Harrison College of Business at Southeast Missouri State
University. She earned her PhD in Business Administration from the University of Florida,
her MBA and BGS at Southeast Missouri State University. Also, Dr. Fluegge Woolf has
published articles in Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Personnel Psychology, and the Handbook of Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Fluegge Woolf's research interests include workplace fun, affect and emotions, job attitudes, communication, and leadership. She makes the classroom an exciting place to learn and apply business concepts, and her unconventional teaching style fosters enthusiasm, creativity, and innovation. Dr. Fluegge Woolf's research and teaching interest center on how having fun and being positive in both the classroom and workplace impact performance.
The purpose of this project is to develop and launch the Institute for Creativity
and Innovation (ICI). The ICI is proposed as a collaborative effort between the Douglas
C. Greene Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) and the Donald L. Harrison
College of Business to inspire all students, faculty and staff at Southeast Missouri
State University to produce creative solutions to societal challenges and opportunities.
In order to foster creative ideas and action across campus, it is proposed that the
ICI develop and deliver co-curricular activities in collaboration with the Center
for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The primary activity will be a Creativity Festival.
