Southeast Missouri State University will send selected students to Washington, D.C., during spring break week (March 10-14, 2019) to participate in a four-day seminar. They will engage with the scholars and researchers of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and also participate in interactive exercises.
Although the actual cost of the CSIS program, including transportation and lodging, is approximately $3,000 per participant, the cost to students will be only $400, plus normal fees for the three-hour UI498 course. Students are responsible for some meals and incidentals while in Washington, D.C.

Tentative Trip Schedule (as of October 2018)
Sunday (March 10): Depart from Cape Girardeau to Washington D.C.
Monday (March 11): All day seminar at CSIS with breakfast and lunch provided. Dinner on your own.
Tuesday (March 12): Half day seminar at CSIS with breakfast provided. Lunch and Dinner on your own.
Wednesday (March 13): All day seminar at CSIS with breakfast and lunch provided. Southeast Alumni Reception in the evening. Dinner on your own.
Thursday (March 14): Half day seminar at CSIS with breakfast provided. Return to Cape Girardeau.
