Throughout the year, Catapult hosts a variety of events that range from lectures to competitions and challenges.

We aim to encourage creativity and support entrepreneurship with each event. Some will be open to the general public, and other challenges are specific to students.

After Hours Series

Artists have often served as our conscience. They are often the way political and social issues are kept going. The After Hours Series features artists who have made work about issues affecting their communities.

First Fridays

First Fridays at Catapult is a gallery walk that occurs during the first Friday of every month from 5-9 p.m.

You can visit Catapult’s three galleries and then continue on to other downtown Cape Girardeau galleries and businesses. The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri has a full list of participating galleries and businesses!

Other Events

SEMO Startups Learning Community

Network with entrepreneurs, take tours of area companies, and start a business where you keep the profits. This learning community is in LaFerla Hall and is open to all majors.

Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021
