Catapult Creative House encourages creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship by providing a space where students, faculty and the community may create and collaborate. It is home to a shop stocked with handmade original items, meeting spaces, studio spaces, and an art gallery.

Students can develop apps, create unique apparel, work on interior design, and create art for public viewing in our gallery space at Catapult. Not only is it possible for a student to bring a concept to a tangible product or viable service using Catapult’s capabilities, but they also have the opportunity to develop a sustainable business model with the help of consulting services from Southeast business students.

Our interdisciplinary approach makes integrating the creative process with business planning possible!

Catapult was chosen as one of 35 Innovations That Inspire by the AACSB in 2017. Innovations That Inspire recognizes institutions serving as champions of change in the business education landscape. We showcase the important role that innovation plays in achieving the industry-wide vision for business education.

Class of 2019, BFA: Sculpture

"I was really lucky to be involved in Catapult Creative House which really prepares you for a career in arts administration. I had the opportunity to be the student gallery manager. I got to practice the actual real world skills I use every day but with the supervision and guidance of my professors and other staff. "
