The Conservatory Dance Intensive

Ages 12 to College

Dancers will be challenged technically and artistically through a variety of classes taught by Southeast dance faculty and professional  artists. In addition to daily ballet class, students will study modern and jazz techniques and have the opportunity to experience additional classes including pointe, aerial arts, improvisation and hip-hop. The Conservatory Dance Intensive offers individualized dance instruction and will enhance young dancers’ technique and performance abilities. An informal concert showcase of newly created dance works will take place at the end of the week.

Students interested in pursuing the BFA in Dance at The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance may use the intensive is their audition. A minimum of 12 dancers must be enrolled in order for the intensive to be held.


Half Day Fee: (9am - 12pm daily) $150 includes 2 daily technique classes in ballet and modern or jazz
Commuter Fee: (9am - 9pm daily) $345 includes all classes, social activities, lunch, dinner and social activities
Resident Fee: $495 includes loding, meals, classes, and social activies.
