Doyle Privett of Kennett, Missouri, was appointed to the Board of Regents in April 2009 by Missouri Governor Jeremiah “Jay” Nixon to serve a six-year term expiring January 1, 2015. Privett served as President of the Board of Regents from December 2012 thru February 2015.
He received his bachelor of science in accounting from Southeast Missouri State University in 1973. Privett is a certified public accountant who currently serves as chief financial officer for Kennett National Bank. He previously served on the Board of Regents from 1995 to 2003.
Privett is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and served on the group’s board of directors from 1987-1988 and 1993-1996; he also served as president of the Southeast Chapter of CPAs in 1988. He is also a member of the board of directors of Kennett National Bank and serves as chairman of the advisory committee of the Southeast’s regional campus in Kennett.
He has been married to his wife, Bonnie, since 1974; they have two children, Brian and Brooke, who are both also Southeast graduates.
