PASS Program - Peer Advisor Support at Southeast Program

The PASS program provides new students with a supportive relationship with a Peer Advisor, which includes: guidance, practical advice, and ways to connect to the campus.

Requirements

  • 3 individual meetings with peer advisors and their academic advisor at the academic advising office:
    • First 4 Week Check
    • Mid-Term Grade Check
    • Pre-Finals Week Check

Pass Invitations will be sent during the summer to those who qualify:

  • 18-20 ACT
  • < 3.0 HS GPA

Academic Success Plan (ASP)

The Academic Success plan provides freshmen in their spring semester a supportive relationship with a Peer Advisor, which includes: guidance, practical advice, and ways to improve their academic standing.

Requirements

  • 3 individual meetings with peer advisors and their academic advisor at the academic advising office:
    • First 4 Week Check
    • Mid-Term Grade Check
    • Pre-Finals Week Check

Second semester freshmen will be placed on an ASP based on their first semester GPA. ASP invitations will be sent to those students who qualify based on:

  • Academic probation status
  • Cumulative GPA
