COVID-19 Information
See the latest updates and information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, including
a list of University contact information at semo.edu/covid19.
- 1. Go to https://app.semo.edu/aca/advisingreports/Auth/Login.aspx
- 2. Sign in with your SE Key and password. Please note that the system is only available
from 7 am to 6 pm daily.
- 3. Select the desired report type from the tabs at the top: Student Report, Seat Count
Report, and Course Demand Report. (Please remember that the system will not reflect
any same day changes made to a student’s data.)
- 4. Log out when finished.
Student Report
- 1. Choose from two Report Types:
- Active Students (this will include all students who are currently active, regardless
of whether or not they are enrolled in any courses.)
- If you choose this report type, the only required field is Address Type.
- Registered Students by Term (this will include only students who are enrolled for
the selected term.)
- If you choose this report type, the only required fields are Term and Address Type.
- 2. Once you have selected the report type, you can use any, all, or none of the following
fields to narrow down your results:
- Level
- Campus
- Degree Catalog Term
- College (Be aware that if you search by College, it will only return students who
have a major in the college. It will not include students who are minoring in the
college, unless they also have a major in that college.)
- Department (Be aware that if you search by Department, it will only return students
who have a major in the department. It will not include students who are minoring
in the department, unless they also have a major in that department.)
- Major
- Minor
- Student Type
- Academic Standing
- Student Attribute
- Advisor's Name
- Cumulative GPA
- Passed Hours
- Athlete Code (Be aware that if a student has multiple active athlete codes for the
selected semester only one will be returned in the results.)
- 3. When you have entered all of your search criteria, click on the “Search” button.
- To view additional information for a single student, click on “Select” next to their
name.
- To view additional information for all students, click on “Export Results to CSV.”
- 4. To view major/minor GPA information, click on “Export Major/Minor GPA Results to
CSV.” This should open the report in an Excel spreadsheet. Please be aware:
- The major/minor GPA listed is the major/minor GPA that is listed for the student on
Degree Works.
- The report will show the associated GPA for all majors and/or minors the student has
declared, regardless of the search criteria.
- Each major/minor GPA will be listed on a separate line in the report.
- For Education majors, it will list both the pedagogy and content area GPA, when applicable.
- It will not list a major GPA for students who are undeclared or are pursuing a BGS
degree.
Seat Count Report
- 1. Select Term (This field is required).
- 2. Select at least one criteria from the following fields:
- Subject (Use the Ctrl key to select multiple subjects)
- Course Number
- Course College
- Course Department
- Course Campus
- Course Level
- The seat count results only include sections held on the main campus and online.
- Course Attribute
- 3. When you have entered all of your search criteria, click on the “Search” button.
- To view additional information for a single student, click on “Select” next to their
name.
- To view additional information for all students, click on “Export Results to CSV.”
Course Demand Report
- 1. Select the Student Search Criteria.
- Term (This field is required)
- The Course Demand results will only include students who are enrolled for the selected
term.
- Level
- Campus
- College
- Department
- Major
- Minor
- Student Classification
- 2. Select at the Course Search Criteria. (Criteria from at least one field is required)
- Subject (Use the Ctrl key to select multiple subjects)
- Course Number
- Course College
- Course Department
- 3. When you have entered all of your search criteria, click on the “Search” button.
- To export the search results, click on the “Export Results to CSV.” (The search results
are generated from the student’s Degree Works audit.)
- The Take Type indicates whether the course is a required course (MUSTTAKE) or is one
of several choices (MAYTAKE). Please be aware that if hidden substitutions have been
built into the audit for a required course, it will show up as MAYTAKE.
- To view additional information for a single class, click on “Select” next to that
course.
- To view additional information on the students, click on “Export Student Results to
CSV.”
