Thomas Romine joined the Admissions team in August of 2016 as a Student Ambassador.
After giving prospective students tours of Southeast Missouri State University’s campus
for two and a half years, he joined the Admissions office as an Admission Counselor
in January of 2019. He works primarily with students from Cape Girardeau County and Southern
Illinois in addition to non-traditional, military, GED/HSE, home-schooled, and Cape
College Center students.
Originally from Southern Illinois, Thomas moved to Cape Girardeau shortly after graduating
from Southeast Missouri State University with his bachelor’s degree in General Education
with a minor in music in December of 2018. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in
Higher Education Administration. While on campus, Thomas was involved in many musical
ensembles including the Southeast Marching Band, Show Band, Wind Symphony, Concert
Band, and Jazz band.
In his free time, Thomas enjoys the outdoors, reading, watching baseball, and playing
music. Thomas is a strong supporter of pursuing higher education in all of its different
facets and is excited to share his passion and love for Southeast Missouri State University!
