Southeast Missouri State University and Jackson R-2 School District have formed a partnership, so Jackson R-2 School District employees who enroll in an online degree program or the undergraduate pathway for paraprofessionals receive a 20% tuition discount. Working together to help you further your education in appreciation for the bright future you help your students discover.

Jackson R-2 School District employees and their spouse/partner are eligible for a Student Recreation Center membership at the University affiliate rate.

Jackson R-2 School District employees can receive discounted tickets ($3 off purchase price) on University-produced events at the Southeast River Campus. Each Jackson R-2 School District faculty/staff member can purchase up to four discounted tickets. This discount does not apply to events not produced by the University.

Jackson R-2 School District may request up to 10 complimentary tickets per semester to a University-produced event held in the Bedell Performance Hall to be distributed to Jackson R-2 School District employees (or students). Tickets must be requested in advance of the event date.

Prior Learning Assessment
You've done the work. Now get the credit. Southeast Missouri State University offers a variety of opportunities for Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), meaning you could get college credits for the professional or military experience you already have.
Steps to Apply
- Complete the application for admission online. We will let you know if we need additional documentation after you apply.
- Include your company code JKSD01M on the application.
- Fill out the Jackson R-2 School District Rate Agreement form and email the required materials to admissions@semo.edu or mail them to:

Recertification
Current Southeast Online students who wish to receive the discount are required to recertify every semester. To receive the discount, complete the Jackson R-2 School District Rate Agreement form and submit it together with the required materials (noted on the form) to the Office of Admissions.
