The Academic Support Centers (ASCs)/TRIO Programs at Southeast are staffed by professionals certified in learning assistance, higher education theory, financial literacy and leadership development.
We support and prepare students for their launch into life and career as degreed professionals.
The mission of the Centers is to enhance the academic achievement and educational attainment of all students. The departments/programs span the educational scope from pre-college to undergraduate and graduate programs.
We assist students in navigating their collegiate journey, support their learning, and celebrate their successes.
ASCs execute our mission through academic assistance including tutorial services, Supplemental Instruction (SI), leadership development and opportunities, structured student employment, mentoring and coaching, internal and external scholarship support and community outreach.
