Judy has been a counselor at Southeast since 1986. She was appointed Counseling and Disability Services's Director in 1992. A Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor, Judy's professional interests include crisis management; university and community outreach; the treatment of survivors of rape and childhood sexual abuse; GLBT concerns; eating disorders; relationship issues; mindfulness; and the integration of spirituality and psychology. Judy's therapeutic influences are Humanistic, Gestalt, and Interpersonal theories. St. John is a member of the Association of University College Counseling Center Directors, the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators, and the American Counseling Association.
