A waiting list is maintained and children are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each time there is an opening in a classroom the waiting list will be reviewed and families will be notified of the availability. At that time, families have the opportunity either to enroll in the available space or to remain on the waiting list for the next opening. Families already enrolled at the Center have priority on the waiting list for a new child or to enroll in additional days.
Once the family and the center have agreed to enrollment days, you will begin the enrollment process. You will need to complete an enrollment packet and return it to the Center. You will also have an opportunity to meet with the Operations Supervisor or Director to discuss our policies and procedures and take a tour of the Center. Prior to attending, all enrollment papers must be completed and signed except the physical. You have 30 days for the doctor to complete this form and return it to the Center.
We serve the children of students, faculty & staff from the University and children from the surrounding community. Children ages six weeks to kindergarten age are eligible for enrollment. The Center does not provide before or after school care or care for school aged children. Southeast Missouri State University will not allow persons with an overdue balance on their Southeast account to use University services, so balances must be cleared prior to enrollment.
To withdraw from the Center, you must give a two-week notice. If a notice is not given, you will still be charged an additional two weeks for care.
