In May 2009 the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra will travel to Beijing and Shanghai, China, on its first ever international concert tour. Under the direction of conductor Dr. Sara Edgerton, the orchestra will perform concerts:

• at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music
• at Shanghai Normal University
• at China’s beautiful cultural site, Hangzhou
• on the Great Wall of China, weather permitting
