The The Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast is comprised of the Department of Art, Department of Music and the Department of Theatre & Dance and students in these disciplines receive their training at River Campus. Students may elect programs of study that lead to either a professional degree or a liberal arts degree. And to keep up with growing demand, River Campus has undergone new construction of instructional spaces that include an on-site Residence Hall opening this Fall.

Bringing all the visual and performing arts together in one location offers unique opportunities for students to experience innovative degree programs and to work with other artists and performers on a daily basis. Find out more about the River Campus Center and all it has to offer!

Discover the ARTs and Discovery Playhouse

Students and faculty at the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus are partnering with the Discovery Playhouse in Cape Girardeau for a program that will give children hands-on lessons in all areas of the arts.

The Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts offered our latest musical theatre youth class this fall with great success. Students had the opportunity to participate in theatre games and exercises in addition to learning scenes and songs from Hairspray and this semester we're offering a Cinderella Workshop. You know it's bound to be magical!
