Facilities Kent Library houses an extensive collection of volumes for research by students and is also a member of the MOBIUS consortium of libraries, which gives students access to 14 million volumes in 57 libraries across Missouri. Kent Library is also home to the enviable Center for Faulkner Studies and the Brodsky Collection, one of the largest collections of William Faulkner materials in the world. The Center for Writing Excellence, located in the fourth floor of Kent Library, offers students the chance to receive input and advice on writing assignments of any length or type. In most cases, appointments are not required, although during busy times in the semester, you may want to plan ahead and get your paper done early. For more information about the Center for Writing Excellence, contact: The Harold O. Grauel building, which houses the Department of English, contains a computer lab for student use. Computer labs are also located in nearby Kent Library, as well as Dempster and Crisp Halls. In addition, a 24-hour computer lab is located in Towers Residence Hall. |
