Southeast Missouri State University

Student Organization

The Anthropology Society is an organization open to all Anthropology majors and any others interested in anthropology.  The organization’s purpose is three-fold: informative, social and interactive.  It seeks to provide information on topics of interest to members, such as career information and current topics and discoveries.  It allows students to connect and share common interests and goals.  The Anthropology Society also gives opportunities to interact with the anthropological community through the use of guest speakers, film series and field trips to historical sites and conferences.
