MA English: English Studies

Overview

The Master of Arts in English: English Studies option offers a broad range of courses in literature, rhetoric, theory, and creative writing which not only deepen students’ understanding of classic andmodern humanist texts, but provide much needed opportunity for the development of critical and creative thinking, crucial for nurturing the global citizen. Such development prepares students for a workplace which will continue to evolve in a changing twentyfirst century world. The Master of Arts in English: English Studies also provides fundamental preparation for doctoral work, or for entry into other advanced professional schools.
