As a student who is taking all classes online, we understand that you may feel disconnected
from the University. Rest assured that Student Financial Services is still here for
you, and we want you to feel as included as our on campus students.
Beginning fall 2016, Southeast offers a standard online tuition rate for online degree
students, regardless of your state of residence. This simpler rate will help you know
exactly what it costs, without having to account for general fees or web fees. Instead,
you will be charged the 'Online ONLY Special Tuition Rate'
on the fee schedule
2016-2017 Rates (Fall 2016/Spring 2017/Summer 2017)
Undergraduate, Online Only Tuition: $265.00 per credit hour
Graduate, Online Only Tuition: $325.00 per credit hour
This rate applies to web courses only, is for students pursuing an online degree through
Southeast Online, and is based on your degree level, graduate or undergraduate. Keep
in mind, you may still encounter course fees and/or program fees from time to time,
depending upon the particular courses you enroll.
Important Things to Remember:
- Student Financial Services is housed on the main campus located in Cape Girardeau,
MO and separate from Southeast Online. While SE Online may be able to assist you with
general questions, they do not have access to your financial records. Please verify
all financial aid and billing issues with Student Financial Services.
- Tuition is billed based on the number of credit hours in which you are enrolled. The
more classes, the more it costs. But not based on residency if you are Online ONLY.
- Your tuition bill will be mailed to your permanent address. We also offer an online
‘Account Summary’ allowing you to view the entire account history and make online payments. A printable
‘Online Schedule Bill’ is available once the semester begins.
- If your bill is not paid on time, then you may be cancelled from your course(s). If
you are cancelled for non-payment, contact us immediately, to determine if reinstatement
is an option.
