Delaney Vampran Foster joined the University and the Office of Residence Life staff in 2012 as a Hall Director, and new resident of Cape Girardeau. Delaney graduated with honors and a BA from the University of Southern Mississippi in History, with minors in Art History and Classical Studies, and is proud to have served as a Resident Assistant there for three years. Delaney moved to Jonesboro, Arkansas to work as the Graduate Hall Director of the Honors Living Learning Community at Arkansas State University, and to pursue her Master’s degree in College Student Personnel Services with an emphasis in Counseling, which will soon be completed. She will serve as the Hall Director for Myers Hall for the 2012-2013 academic year. Delaney looks forward to building a dynamic, open and warm community in Myers Hall, and invites you to come by and chat.
Delaney is married to Eric Foster, and in her spare time enjoys baking, reading historical fiction and working with the Humane Society and the Special Olympics. Delaney has been extensively involved with the National Residence Hall Honorary, Residence Hall Association, Rho Alpha Sigma, Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, the Gay- Straight Alliance, and intends to continue this involvement at Southeast Missouri State University.
