FIRST LEGO League Qualifying Competitions
This is a robotics competition and innovation fair for kids in 4th grade to 8th grade held in the fall. It is open to schools and other community groups. The season typically starts in September. If you have interested in starting a team or volunteering to help, please contact polytech@semo.edu.

Industrial Outreach

Industrial Advisory Committee
A committee consisting of members from regional industries created for the purpose of providing input and recommendations for the programs offered in the Polytechnic Studies Department. This committee also encourages regular communication between the department and our regional industries. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact polytech@semo.edu.
Technology Resource Center

To meet the challenges of the ever-changing industrial environment, the Technology Resource Center (TRC) was established by Ameren and is a collaboration between Ameren and the Department of Polytechnic Studies to hold industrial training and other industrial outreach efforts..

WIRED/SEMO Robotics Project
WIRED and Southeast have partnered to support teams taking part in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), a robotics competition for high-school students interested in discovering the excitement and rewards of science, technology, and engineering.
