Southeast Missouri State - return home Experience Southeast... Experience Success
Dr. Robert Conger, conductor of the Spring Concert Band

Concert Band

Concert Band is a traditional windband which meets during spring semester only and features many of the finest musicians on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.  This ensemble uses symphonic band instrumentation and is open to all students regardless of major. Past programs have included the following works: Blessed are They - Johannes Brahms; Courtly Airs and Dances - Ron Nelson; When Summer Was Just Beginning - Larry Daehn and The Dancing Sergeant - Norman Dello Joio.

This ensemble rehearses and performs at our brand new River Campus.  Both concerts during the semester will be shared with the Southeast Wind Symphony in Bedell Performance Hall.  The band meets from 3:30 until 5:20 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Interested students are invited to join this enjoyable musical experience. No audition is required. This ensemble plays literature for the wind band of moderate difficulty and will present two concerts during the semester.
