Creating content, establishing contacts, and maintaining connections with an ever-changing audience is the key to working in today's media industry.

Southeast's Department of Mass Media prepares students to enter this fast-paced field with the Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication degree.

Students in the degree program complete a 36 hour major that is comprised of

  • 15 hours of required core mass communication courses
  • 21 hours of required option mass communication courses.

Students also complete 6 additional hours of support courses and a 15 hour minor of their choice.
