The Department of History offers a number of scholarships to support students’ academic endeavors.
Applying for History scholarships is a two-step process. You must apply through the university and through the Department of History.
First, using the online form on this page, apply directly to the Department of History, being sure to include all the necessary documents outlined below. Your application will be disqualified if any required supporting material is omitted.
Then, apply for the same endowed scholarships through the MySoutheast Portal.
If you are applying for any scholarship based on financial need, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for this year and have it fully processed and on file with Student Financial Services before March 1 in order for your application to be considered. FAFSA applications are available at www.fafsa.ed.gov or through Student Financial Services.
Scholarship applications must be received by the Department of History by 5pm on February 28.
