I received my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Southeast in 2005. After teaching for a few years I decided to return for my Masters in History. I left my teaching position to work on my Masters full-time; I am currently a graduate assistant. Upon graduation my goal is to get back into teaching, preferably at the secondary level.
My research interests include women’s military history and history of the American West. When I am not at the University I can be found up a tree or stomping around the woods somewhere in Illinois or Missouri, as I am an avid archery hunter and hiker.
