Dr. Quantella Anderson-Noto is Assistant Professor / Director of the Hospitality Management Department at Southeast Missouri State University; Cape Girardeau, MO. Her responsibilities include providing leadership with the curriculum development of the hospitality management program, recruitment, retention and advising of students, as well as maintaining a liaison with local, regional and national hospitality industries. Dr. Anderson-Noto was previously an Instructor at Strafford University, Falls Church, VA, in the Culinary Arts / Hospitality Management department.

Anderson-Noto has held several positions in the lodging and foodservice industry. Anderson-Noto served as Group Sales Manager for the Park Hyatt, Washington D.C., and the Monarch Hotel (now Fairmont) as a Corporate Sales Manager of Business and International Travel. Anderson-Noto has also managed catering events and performed all functions associated with Convention Services/Banquet departments in 4-Diamond properties. Her career also included positions with: the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, Shannon Inn and Pub in East Stroudsburg, PA, and the Four Sisters Winery in Belvidere, NJ. Anderson-Noto was also owner of a fine-dining restaurant in Cape Girardeau, MO., and recipient of the Restaurateur of the Year Recognition by the Missouri Restaurant Association.

Dr. Anderson-Noto graduated Cum Laude from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management. She received her Masters of Tourism Administration from the George Washington University School of Business & Public Administration in Washington D.C., and her Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
