Below are links to various Web sites related to financial aid.  These sites are not monitored by Southeast Missouri State University, and the University does not take any responsibility for the content of these pages.  However, members of the Student Financial Services staff have reviewed many of these sites and have found them to be informational and helpful for students searching for scholarships, loan repayment options, etc. 



FAFSA on the Web, http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/
You can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at this Web site created by the U.S. Department of Education.  Completing the FAFSA on the Web can save significant time in comparison to completing the paper FAFSA.



Department of Education PIN Registration, http://www.pin.ed.gov/
You and your parents can register for a Department of Education PIN which can be used to access and complete the Renewal Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit corrections to a processed FAFSA. You may also use their PIN to electronically sign the submitted FAFSA or to obtain a copy of the processed FAFSA information.

This site provides information regarding the Missouri student assistance programs.  These programs include: the Charles Gallagher Student Financial Assistance Program, the Advantage Missouri Program, the Missouri Higher Education Academic Scholarship Program (Bright Flight), and the Marguerite Ross Barnett Scholarship Program.  This site also contains general information regarding financial aid.

ACS Education Services is another excellent source for financial aid information.  This site will be the most useful to Southeast students with Perkins Loan debt.  You can register for a user name and password to access your Perkins Loan account information, change your address and telephone number with ACS, make online payments to your Perkins Loan and get other pertinent information and forms.

This site contains a wide variety of general information regarding financial aid.  This site also contains many links to free scholarship searches, universities and other organizations relating to higher education.

CollegeNET offers a free scholarship search as well as general information pertaining to financial aid.

Selective Service, http://www.sss.gov/regist.htm
If you need to register for the Selective Service, confirm your Selective Service Registration, or change your address on file with the Selective Service, you can do so online.  Registration for the Selective Service is mandatory for most males between the ages of 18 and 25.  If you are male and are required to register, you must do so before receiving any form of federal or state financial aid.
