Department of Communication Studies
Welcome to our departmental Web site. Our department offers degrees in Communication Studies and Corporate Communication. For each, the department provides a winning combination of:

Special Events: The department hosts several special events, including three annual lectures as well as a conference that brings top talent to campus, awards ceremonies for our own special achievers, a semi-annual Speaker Showcase, an annual 5K run to celebrate freedom of speech and more! Professional Advisory Council: Our department's faculty remain current by reading the latest literature in their respective areas, attending conferences and conventions, and producing pedagogical and scholarly works. In addition, they meet regularly with professionals who serve on our Professional Advisory Council to obtain their input on curricular offerings and practices. In these ways we strive to ensure that our students receive a first-rate, up-to-date education and can excel in their career.
