The Oral Communication Across the Curriculum Program and Center serve as a resource for students—in all disciplines—who seek individual or group assistance with any communication skill or communication apprehension.  The Center also provides instructors across the curriculum with resources and guidance in the development and assessment of oral communication activities for specific course content.

  • Help sheets for writing, researching and presenting speaking assignments
  • Aid for communication apprehension
  • Oral Communication Call Board with posting of speaking and listening opportunities

  • Individual assistance and group workshops in developing and assessing speaking activities for specific course content
  • Assistance in preparing for a speaking opportunity
  • Classroom visits and presentations on oral communication, in general, or specific topics
