The Department of Chemistry actively promotes and supports many different student organizations designed to enrich the experiences of the students at Southeast. These organizations host many different events throughout the year that all are invited to.

Alpha Chi Sigma is the only professional chemistry fraternity in existence that connects men and women interested in the chemical sciences. This organization was recently started at Southeast and looks to connect students, faculty, staff with chemistry-minded students and professionals across the country through social, professional, and science-outreach events.

The Forensic Science Club seeks to group together students, graduates, and professionals in the forensic science field. They host events, bring speakers to campus, and perform demonstrations throughout the local community.

The Pre-Pharmacy Club allows students pursing the pre-pharmacy option to network with professionals as well as other students. The club hosts speakers and takes trips to visit other schools to help members gain information about the pharmaceutical field.

The Chemistry Club at Southeast has a long standing tradition with the department allowing students to apply their knowledge through demonstration shows, outreach events, social events, and much more. The members take a trip every year to present their activities and receive awards at national meetings of the American Chemical Society.
