The Office of Career Services at Southeast Missouri State University provides career based services to all current undergraduate/graduate students and alumni, who have graduated within the last year. In addition, we work to establish and foster relationships with on and off campus employers to assist in maximizing their recruitment experience as they look to connect with Southeast students.
Below you will find more information on the specific services we provide to students/alumni, how to locate/contact our office, and schedule an appointment. We would encourage all individuals to also review the grey menu items (located on the left side of each CS webpage) for more information on the services/resources provided to specific groups.
Services are provided primarily in-person and are appointment based, with the exception of identified walk-in services. If an in-person appointment is not a feasible option, services may be provided through alternative means (Phone, Skype, E-mail).
Choosing/changing a major/career direction, assessment assistance/interpretation, goal setting, and career planning
Walk-In Resume & Cover Letter Reviews are available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2-4 pm
Mock Interviews are scheduled by completing the Student Request Form (located within the grey Student drop down menu on the left side of this webpage).
Presentations are scheduled by completing the Request Form (located within the grey Student drop down menu on the left side of this webpage).

Appointment lengths do vary based on the service being provided but, due to demand, no appointment will exceed one (1) hour in length. When scheduling an appointment, please be prepared to provide the following information:
