Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the National Leadership Honor Society, is designed to recognize those students who have attained a high standard of efficiency in collegiate activities and to inspire others to strive for attainments along similar lines. It brings together the most representative students in all phases of collegiate life, and thus, creates an organization which will help to mold the sentiment of the institution on questions of local and intercollegiate interest. Lastly, it works to bring together students and faculty on a basis of mutual interest, understanding and helpfulness.
ODK identifies, honors and develops leaders in collegiate and community life. ODK encourages collaboration among students, faculty, staff and alumni to advance leadership. ODK promotes, publicizes and enhances its ideas which include: scholarship, service, integrity, character and fellowship.
Membership in ODK is a mark of highest distinction and honor. Emphasis is placed on the development of the whole person, both as a member of the college community and as a contributor to a better society. Members are selected on the following principles:
Applicants must have a 3.5 GPA or higher and have completed 60 or more credit hours to be considered for selection.
Each year, Southeast selects a group of students to be part of Omicron Delta Kappa.
The application period is currently closed.
