See what our school has to offer

The Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast is comprised of the Department of Art, Department of Music and the Department of Theatre & Dance and students in these disciplines receive their training at River Campus. Students may elect programs of study that lead to either a professional degree or a liberal arts degree.  And to keep up with growing demand, River Campus is undergoing new construction of instructional spaces that include an on-site Residence Hall opening Fall 2014.  Bringing all the visual and performing arts together in one location offers unique opportunities for students to experience innovative degree programs and to work with other artists and performers on a daily basis.

Spring Workshops

New this spring, we launched workshops geared to elementary and middle school students allowing them artistic learning opportunities. The first session offered students the chance to learn new performance skills in conjunction with Southeast’s production of Peter Pan. And thanks to such a large response, we were excited to offer two more chances for students to learn theatre performance skills along with storytelling, self-expression and teamwork. We had such a good time we are planning additional class offerings next spring, so keep watching!
