The Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts at Southeast are comprised of the Departments of Art, Music and Theatre & Dance. River Campus provides a unique opportunity for artists of all talents to spend time and work together on a daily basis. The campus is comprised of and includes state of the art classrooms, studios and performance spaces.

In addition to strong academic programs the university is also committed to our community and summers on the river are rolling with activities for everyone. In addition to summer campus, we’ll be hosting our third annual River Camus Summer Arts Festival where every speck of the campus will be swimming with activities including two free theatrical performances for the family.

And when its time for formal education Southeast Missouri State University offers more than $17 million in scholarship awards annually, making a Southeast education possible for any student who seeks it. Many options are available, for every discipline within the Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts. Get more details.

In addition, students reside in dorms which include wireless internet, work out facilities and cafeteria in addition to computer labs and the Arts Resource Center all on site. Studies include programs leading to either a professional degree or a liberal arts degree. Plan you trip to find out more about all Southeast Missouri State has to offer!

The Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts is also committed to the community. Free concerts are offered throughout the year and students of all ages are engaged in learning and celebrating the arts. Whether it’s viewing exhibits in the Crisp Museum, interacting in Family Days, participating in youth workshops, summer academies or just coming for the fun at the Summer Festival. Add to this the collaborative efforts of our academic departments and touring performances and you just can never tell what we’ll do next!
