The Office of University Communications & Marketing is responsible for communicating information that enables external and internal constituencies to better understand the University, its mission and its many contributions. The department is also charged with developing and supporting the university’s graphic standards to ensure every communication from Southeast contributes to the University’s reputation.
The visual identity program plays an important role in shaping the institutional image of Southeast Missouri State University. A strong and consistent visual identity helps shape the way key constituents view Southeast, now and in the future.

The News Bureau directs both the internal and external communication of news at Southeast Missouri State University.
Photography Services provides images for the University’s communications that represent Southeast to the public and takes staff and faculty portraits.
Public Services/Publications is responsible for the major printed materials of the University and other selected printed and electronic pieces, and for coordinating graphic standards for the University.
Video Services produces broadcast-quality videos, radio and multi-media productions related to the University's programs and mission.
